Nat Hugill | High Performance Coach - Lifestyle
I was commissioned by Nat to shoot a set of lifestyle images for use on a new business website - Nat Hugill Coach, for social media and for branding.
I was very lucky as I had met Nat around 2018 but only briefly. Nat has done lots of modelling and is super creative. I had look on in awe over the following years thinking, we need to do a shoot, and I am just not at the same standard as Nat but it’s something to work towards. Fast forward to 2025 and I have come a long way and got the message, “Hey, I’ve started a new business and want to book you to help with my images”. I was thrilled to be involved and to be asked.
Nat also found the venue which was massive coup as I am always looking for new venues, Mackenzie Studios is now my main location for lifestyle and portraits so if you like this setup, you can be shot here. Just hit the contact button and tell me about your ideas.
Nat was super organised and gave me a mood board (I usually do these for all shoots) and also colour concepts and posing ideas. This extra preparation will go a long way towards making for a very successful shoot and it’s something I always try to do, but it’s nice when the client drives that process.
Nat went for a bronze style that works with the company branding. I was able to sample the colour palette and used it to tint the shadows in the images for a consistent look that should tie in well with the branding on the website. As usual, I also supplied black and white versions.
This commission was for a larger amount of images, and despite only a two hour shoot time, we had more than our fill to choose from. As these images are for website and marketing purposes, I delivered all images with a full beauty retouch, to create the aesthetic and professional touch Nat was looking for.
We are both really happy with the results though.
