People get portraits for many reasons. To celebrate and record a milestone, as part of a professional portfolio, to leave a precious memory for their family or just because they enjoy it. I can do portraits almost anywhere. I can do them in your house or somewhere special to you or we could get into a studio for a more formal look.
It all starts with an idea. I would love to chat to you about what you are thinking, how I can make that happen but also how I can add value and ideas to really bring out the very best of you. They say that we don’t know what we don’t know. Well, that’s why you talk to me. I can make suggestions on how to ramp things up to the next level to go from nice pictures to AMAZING!
I have been shooting portraits for over 10 years and in that time, I have done a bunch of really creative and classic images that make the person look and feel amazing. I like to think I am a pretty nice and friendly guy too (check some of my awesome feedback). Having someone who is not just a photographer but also your cheer leader can bring out the best in your photos. In the studio I am great at shaping the light for the most flattering portraits, but I also know the best poses for your body type. I will send you posing guides in advance of the shoot so you can do your homework and come ready to smash them out of the park.
Portraits for men
It isn’t all about the ladies (though they tend to be the keenest). Men, do you want your family at your funeral saying, “I wish we had more nice pictures of him”? We know that guys are typically not as into this but do it for your family. We are all just trying to make everyone happy so why not take one for the team and give the lady what she wants.
Male models
Male models need a portfolio as well. Men have very different needs and looks; I will help you find that look and then execute it to give you the images you need to get booked.

Want to look amazing? Want to get that captured and saved for eternity? We work with amazing markup artists or you can do your own. We can tailor a session to suit your very specific requirements. That could be at your home or a place that’s special to you, or we could hire a studio. We have a vast wealth of experience shooting portraits and we are always working to make you look the best you can.
It’s all about the experience so bring a friend and maybe some music to get the mood right, maybe a bottle of bubbles.
