Rebecca and Michael

Not even the rain could dampen the spirits on what was a wonderful day filled with laughs and a party atmosphere. The day started with me dropping in on the ladies for their bridal prep. The wonderful Sinead from House of Makeup was on hand to get Rebecca and her beautiful bridal party ready for the day. After that we headed to the venue, Cauldrey house at the Wenderholm regional park. Located just five minutes form my home it felt slightly odd being so near, but I wasn’t complaining.

Rebecca and Micheal had their bridal party shoot before ceremony because the venue isn’t available until after 4 so they wanted to get ahead of things. We had to move things constantly as the rain just kept coming in waves all afternoon, but they were really chill and determined not to let it phase them, as usually, everything worked out fine. We can’t control the weather and sometimes these things just go to show that it’s not the end of the world. The large group shot was taking in full on rain with everyone crowding onto a veranda while I braved the rain ;)

The reception was at Rebecca’s parents’ house. Again, the rain had other ideas, but we stuck with it and no amount of rain could stop their very close friends who were determined to celebrate the big day! I love what I do.
