‘This beautiful Auckland wedding took place at Woodhouse Mountain Lodge, near Warkworth. A totally stunning venue as you can see from the pictures.

There had been quite a lot of rain in the lead up to the wedding. I was hoping to use the extensive grounds for lots of different poses, but it was too wet. I am nothing if not adaptable, I was looking for a really nice composition area to photograph the bride, groom and the groups. This stunning long driveway has two symmetrical trees in the distance and I use that as my composition point, it worked out so well. The photos were really effective with that composition. It also helps that the bride and groom were very attractive, so they look stunning!

They were very willing participants, and I got some great shots. Andy looks so excited to be starting his journey with Chris. We got some great poses and also some lovely candid fun shots of the bride and groom getting ready.

It was a really enjoyable day.’
