“This Auckland wedding was amazing to photograph. The ceremony and reception was at Mantel's, on Tamaki Drive. It's probably the most perfect wedding venue you can photograph in. It's got whitewashed walls with mirrors down one side. The light was perfect, it's the most amazing light I've photographed in for a ceremony and reception. The photos are stunning. This lovely couple were really keen to take part in the photography and they collaborated with me when we were doing the bride and groom photos. That makes my job a lot easier. And you know, it was a real fun shoot.

We got, lots of amazing images of them from just outside the wedding venue. There's an amazing shed that's got this awesome frame around it, which makes a perfect backdrop to photograph people. They were really, really happy with their finished photos. And you know, that really meant a lot to me. With most of the work I do, people receive is a series of photos in colour and in black and white, high and low resolution. We can also help with printing, framing, photo books, etc,

One really important thing for this couple was to photograph their daughter, who is three. Luciana was a delight to photograph. The trick with photographing young kids is to get them involved in what you're doing. So I asked Luciana to be my special assistant on the day when we were photographing the family and she really bought into that. A a result, when it came time to photograph her, she was a willing participant, which makes all the difference.”
